Welcome to Illinois SADD
Countdown to 2009 National Conference:
More than saying "No"
Originally, the mission of the SADD chapter was to help young people say "No" to drinking and driving. Today, the mission has expanded. Students have told us that positive peer pressure, role models and other strategies can help them say "No" to more than drinking and driving. And that is why SADD has become a peer leadership organization dedicated to preventing destructive decisions, particularly underage drinking, other drug use, impaired driving, teen violence and teen depression and suicide.

SADD Regional Trainings 09
Contact ILSADD for information on hosting a training or regional workshop at your school or in your community. Training modules are being developed now so that when onsite training is not available we can provide you with the resources needed to host your own training.
Trainings are typically held from 9:00 to 2:00 allowing time for students to check in and out from their school. Adjustments in the schedule are no problem and we can work around your timeframe to provide what you need in the way that works for you. There is no cost for training and we will work with you to find a community sponsor to provide the training site if needed and to cover lunch or snacks. Contact robyn@ilsadd.org for more information regarding available trainings and dates.
